Edwards WGVRN Function

The Edwards WGVRN is engineered to provide bright visual notification during emergency events. As a result, occupants receive immediate visual warning, helping improve evacuation and emergency response in areas where audible notification alone may not be sufficient. In addition, the appliance integrates seamlessly with compatible 24VDC notification appliance circuits (NACs) and Genesis synchronization technology.

The WGVRN utilizes advanced high-efficiency LED technology that provides bright, uniform light output while consuming significantly less power than traditional xenon strobes. Consequently, fewer power supplies, smaller wire sizes, and reduced battery capacity may be required during system design. Moreover, the strobe is backward compatible with legacy xenon notification appliances, simplifying retrofit projects.

Field-Selectable Candela Output

The Genesis LED WG Series strobe offers field-selectable 15 and 30 candela settings that can be adjusted during installation without replacing the appliance. Therefore, installers can optimize visual coverage for individual applications while reducing inventory requirements. Furthermore, the selected candela setting remains visible after installation through the appliance’s sealed viewing window.

Outdoor-Rated Construction
