Description

The Fire-Lite SLC-3LS is a commercial loop expander module designed for the Fire-Lite ES-1000X fire alarm control panel. It adds one additional Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), expanding system capacity by up to 318 addressable devices, including as many as 159 detectors and 159 modules.

A maximum of two SLC-3LS cards can be added to the ES-1000X, allowing the control panel to support up to three SLC loops and a total system capacity of 954 addressable points. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Electrical & System Information

The SLC-3LS installs inside a compatible Fire-Lite ES-1000X fire alarm control panel and receives operating power and communication through the panel assembly. Each card provides one additional addressable signaling loop.

The ES-1000X includes one SLC as standard and can accept up to two SLC-3LS expansion cards. When fully expanded, the panel can provide three SLC loops with a combined maximum capacity of 954 addressable devices.

Mounting & Design

The SLC-3LS is designed for internal mounting within the Fire-Lite ES-1000X control panel enclosure. It connects to the control panel using the designated expansion interface and mounting provisions provided by the manufacturer.

Installation should be completed with system power removed and in accordance with the ES-1000X installation manual. Adequate clearance should be maintained for field wiring, inspection, testing, and future service.
