The Space Age D371 continuously monitors its protected area using advanced multi-spectrum optical sensing technology. The D371 combines three infrared sensing bands with ultraviolet flame detection to maximize detection performance while minimizing false alarms. Moreover, it can detect a standard 12-inch × 12-inch n-heptane fire at distances up to 200 feet (61 meters) under ideal conditions.
