The System Sensor SRHKA-F is a red, wall-mounted outdoor strobe designed to provide high-intensity visual emergency notification in compatible commercial fire alarm systems. This SpectrAlert Advance notification appliance provides field-selectable high-candela output, weather-resistant construction, synchronized flashing, and plug-in installation. The standard outdoor configuration includes a plastic weatherproof back box. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.
The SRHKA-F operates on compatible regulated DC or full-wave rectified notification appliance circuits. It is designed primarily for 24-volt fire alarm applications, with operating current determined by the selected candela setting and applied circuit voltage.
The appliance supports the System Sensor synchronization protocol and is electrically compatible with selected legacy SpectrAlert equipment. The strobe flashes approximately once per second during alarm operation.
The System Sensor SRHKA-F is designed for wall installation using the included plastic weatherproof back box and universal mounting plate. The mounting plate allows field wiring to be installed and tested before the strobe is attached.
Its plug-in construction minimizes intrusion into the back box and allows the appliance to be removed for testing, inspection, or replacement without disconnecting the installed field wiring.
