The Cooper Wheelock AS-24MCC-FR is a two-wire ceiling-mount horn + strobe notification appliance designed for indoor fire alarm systems. It combines both visual and audible signaling in a single device, offering field flexibility, selectable output, and compatibility with Wheelock’s synchronization protocols.
Two-Wire Design — Uses a single pair of conductors (IN/OUT) to carry both audible and strobe signaling, simplifying wiring.
Field-Selectable Candela Levels (Ceiling) — 15, 30, 75, or 95 cd (multi-candela ceiling version)
Selectable Horn Mode — Continuous or Temporal (Code 3) tone
Three Volume Settings — 99, 95, and 90 dBA levels in both horn modes
Universal Mounting Plate — Works with single/double gang, 4″ square, and 100 mm European backboxes
Sync Capability — Compatible with Wheelock DSM sync modules or fire panels supporting the Wheelock sync protocol for synchronized flash/horn operation
Strobe Flash Rate — 1 flash per second over the regulated voltage range
Wide Voltage Range (Regulated) — Works from 16 to 33 VDC (or equivalent FWR)
