Cooper Wheelock MT-24-LS is UL-List under Standard 464 for Audible Signal Appliances for Fire Protective Service. The MT-12/24 is also ULC List under Standard CAN/ULC-S525-07 for Audible Signal Appliances for Fire Alarm Systems. They come listed for both indoor and outdoor use with the backboxes specified in these instructions. See Mounting Options.
Cooper Wheelock MT-24-LS can be field set to produce any one of eight commonly used alarm tones. Sound output can be field set to provide either HIGH (HI) dBA or STANDARD (STD) dBA sound output level. MT Multitone Appliances can be field programm for either 12VDC or 24VDC operation and are design for use with either filtered or unfiltered Full-Wave-Rectified (FWR) input voltage. All inputs are polarize for compatibility with standard reverse polarity supervision of circuit wiring by a Fire Alarm Panel (FACP).
