For ceiling mounts, it features the patented MCC multi-candela strobe with settings of 15/30/75/95cd and the high-intensity MCCH strobe with settings of 115/177cd. Synchronization is possible using the Wheelock DSM Sync Modules, Wheelock Power Supplies, or other manufacturers’ panels with the Wheelock Patented Sync Protocol. This synchronization eliminates restrictions on the number of strobes in the field of view.
**Compliance and Installation**
The RSS24-MCCHR-FW meets ADA recommendations for photosensitive epilepsy. It also complies with NFPA 72 requirements. It uses a patented integral strobe mounting plate. You can mount it to various backboxes, including single gang, double gang, 4” square, 100mm European, or the SHBB surface back box. If there is space between the flush backbox and the finished wall, you can use the NATP (Notification Appliance Trimplate) to provide an additional .65” of trim. An attractive cover plate ensures a clean appearance.
**Performance and Synchronization**
This strobe produces one flash per second over the regulated voltage range. Synchronize it using the Wheelock sync modules or panels with built-in Wheelock Patented Sync Protocol. The 12 and 24 VDC models offer a wide UL “Regulated Voltage” range, using either filtered DC or unfiltered VRMS input voltage.
