The Cooper Wheelock WPBB-R i s a weatherproof red back box designed mainly for the ASWP horn strobe. This model i s similar to the Cooper Wheelock WPBB-W. The Cooper Wheelock WPBB-R i s meant for outdoor installations. And can b e mounted on the wall and the ceiling.

All strobe models a re UL dual-listed – meeting UL1638 and UL1971 requirements. These weatherproof strobes, horn strobes, and speaker strobes a re listed for outdoor applications. Under UL 1638 and, under UL 1971, the Standard for Safety Signaling Devices for Hearing Impaired.

Cooper Notification provides the industry’s widest choice of mounting options for surface or unique semi-flush installation to enable weatherproof mounting. Models ar e available for surface mounting to Wheelock weatherproof backboxes on walls or ceilings.
The optional WP-KIT allows the weatherproof backboxes to b e mounted to a recessed electrical box for concealed conduit installation. For semi-flush installation, the WPA* and WFPA* kits allow a customer to mount the weatherproof appliances. To a recessed electrical box without needing an external weatherproof backbox.

All models may b e synchronized using the Wheelock DSM Sync Modules, and Wheelock Power Supplies. Or other manufacturers’ panels incorporating the Wheelock Patented Sync Protocol. The horn output of horn strobes can b e independently controlled on 2-wire circuits using the Wheelock patented sync protocol.
