Description

The DH24120SPC is part of the Series of electromagnetic door holders designed for fire and smoke door assemblies. It holds a door open under normal conditions, then releases (allows the door to close) when power is removed (e.g. on fire alarm or power loss). It is a surface-mount model with versatile voltage compatibility and low current draw.

  The catch plate also has adjustable swivel action to accommodate small misalignments in door and frame, simplifying installation.

• High Holding Force
  Provides substantial holding force to keep doors open reliably under normal conditions. Under 24 V, it holds ~40 lbs; under 120 VAC, ~35 lbs.

• Built-in Transient Protection & Low Residual Magnetism
  The device includes protection circuitry to guard against line surges and has low residual magnetism so doors release cleanly (important for ADA/low-pressure closers).

• Optional Mounting Flexibility
  Beyond surface mounting, the DH series offers variations (recessed, flush, floor-mount) and extension rod accessories to suit different geometries.

• Easy Installation with Adhesive Template
  An adhesive template permits alignment without needing secondary adjustment for the armature and also catch plate.
