Description

The Edwards 2447TH-R series i s a low-current, high-decibel, high-quality notification appliance intended for use in fire alarm applications. The horn i s a self-synchronized, temporal signal that meets the requirements of NFPA 72. It is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting in outdoor or indoor applications. Output level and sound pattern are fields selectable. The unit comes factory set for a temporal signal with a 104 dB output.

The 2447TH-R comes designed for indoor or outdoor wall or ceiling mounting. For flush mounting use a standard 4″ (102mm) square box. Use Cat No. 2459-SMB-R (red) or 2459-SMB-W (white) surface mount box, for surface mounting. For weatherproof mounting, use weatherproof surface box Cat No. 2459-WPB-R (red) or 2459-WPB-W (white).

The Edwards 2447TH-R temporal horn strobe i s specially designed for use with compatible life safety communication. And control equipment to alert occupants of a life safety event. The horn emits a piercing low-frequency sound. That i s easily heard above moderate ambient noise levels. The flash from its strobe can b e noticed from almost any position in the room or large open space.
