Edwards 6700-0061 Portable Telephone Handset

Description
EST Portable Fire Alarm Telephone Handsets and Wall Receptacles allow firefighters to communicate with the fire command center. Refer to literature sheet numbers 85001-0173 and 85001-0177 for details on EST 6702 series Permanent Telephone Stations.
The portable handsets plug into the strategically located and permanently installed receptacles throughout the building. Plugging in a portable telephone handset causes a “call-in’ buzzer to sound, lights a “call-in” lamp, and lights an individual zone lamp in zoned systems, at the command center.
A storage panel for handsets can be provided at the street-level control panel. Refer to an applicable control panel literature for details.
PORTABLE TELEPHONE HANDSETS – Two models are available. Catalog number 6700-0060 is Black. Catalog number 6700-0061 is Red. Both models feature a 60-inch (1500mm) coiled cord complete with a male phone plug. The handset – made from durable ABS plastic.
PORTABLE HANDSET RECEPTACLE – The 6702-0200
Portable Handset Receptacle features a stainless-steel 1-gang faceplate. The receptacle – marked FlRE FIGHTERS TELEPHONE in bilingual English and French languages using red lettering.
Supervised wiring connections between receptacles and the
control panels – made to terminals on each wall receptacle. The receptacle flush mounts to any standard New American 1-gang electrical box, or surface mounts to an EST 27193 series 1-gang Surface Backboxes. The 27193 series backboxes are available in a variety of factory-finished colors.
