The Edwards EC2-OSH is a smoke and heat detector designed for compatible two-wire fire alarm systems. It combines dependable smoke detection with an integrated 135°F fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise heat sensor, providing reliable fire detection for a wide range of applications.
The detector features automatic environmental compensation, self-diagnostics, a low-profile housing, and plug-in installation to simplify inspection and maintenance. This product is intended for fire alarm installations.
The EC2-OSH operates on compatible two-wire initiating device circuits with an operating voltage range of 6.5–33 VDC. The detector continuously supervises smoke sensitivity and heat detection while communicating alarm and maintenance conditions to the connected fire alarm control panel.
The EC2-OSH installs on compatible EC2-SB, EC2-SB4, EC2-RB, and EC2-RB4 detector bases. Its plug-in construction allows convenient installation, testing, cleaning, and replacement without disturbing field wiring. Optional remote LED indication is available using the SIGA-LED accessory.
