The Edwards Est 6297A-400 Powered Zone Transponder – 4 Wire is use to convert normally open contact devices (manual pull stations, waterflow switches, heat detectors) and conventional ionization and photoelectric (area and duct) smoke detectors to addressable devices. All devices connected to the same transponder will have the same address. The Edwards Est 6297A-400 has an integral LED that is software control by the control panel. It also provides terminals for the connection of an optional remote LED.
