The Edwards SIGA-IO is an input/output module designed for compatible Edwards Signature Series fire alarm systems. It provides a flexible interface between the fire alarm control panel and external equipment by supporting multiple programmable input and output operating modes.
The module uses electronic addressing, onboard processing, and configurable personality codes to simplify installation while providing dependable monitoring and control. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.
The SIGA-IO communicates over the Edwards Signature signaling line circuit and requires one module address. The installed operating mode is determined by the personality code downloaded from the compatible Signature loop controller during system configuration.
The module supports configurable input monitoring, output control, alarm relay operation, and monitored output functions depending on the selected application.
The SIGA-IO mounts in a standard 2½-inch deep single-gang electrical box or a 4-inch square electrical box with a compatible one-gang cover and mounting plate. The compact design provides convenient installation for remote interface applications throughout a facility.
