Description

The Edwards SIGA-WTM is a commercial addressable waterflow and tamper module designed for compatible Edwards Signature Series fire alarm systems. It provides two supervised Class B initiating device circuits, allowing one module to monitor both a sprinkler waterflow alarm switch and a supervisory tamper switch from a single installation.

The module is factory configured specifically for sprinkler monitoring applications, with a delayed latching alarm input for waterflow and a separate supervisory input for tamper switches. Automatic addressing, onboard diagnostic LEDs, and Signature Series communication simplify installation and maintenance. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Electrical & System Information

The SIGA-WTM communicates over the Edwards Signature Series Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) and receives operating power directly from the Signature Loop Controller. The module automatically receives its addresses from the loop controller or can be assigned custom addresses through compatible programming software.

Factory-assigned personality codes configure Input Channel 1 for delayed waterflow alarm operation and Input Channel 2 for supervisory tamper monitoring. The module requires two SLC addresses, one for each monitored circuit.

Mounting & Design

The SIGA-WTM is designed for installation in a 2½-inch deep single-gang electrical box or a 4-inch square electrical box with a one-gang cover. Optional Signature mounting plates and surface-mount boxes are available for additional installation flexibility.

The module features removable terminal blocks accepting 12–18 AWG wiring, allowing straightforward field wiring and servicing while maintaining a compact footprint.
