The Fike 63-1057 is a commercial duct smoke detector designed to detect smoke within HVAC duct systems. Utilizing advanced sensing technology, it provides early detection of smoke moving through air handling systems to help prevent the circulation of smoke throughout a building.
The detector incorporates onboard processing, electronic addressing, tri color LED status indication, and automatic sensitivity management for dependable performance. Its twist in twist out design allows quick installation and maintenance when used with the appropriate duct housing. It is intended exclusively for duct detection applications and should not be used for open area smoke detection.
The 63-1057 operates directly from the signaling line circuit without requiring a separate power supply. An onboard microprocessor continuously monitors detector performance while maintaining operating parameters in nonvolatile memory.
A tri color LED provides immediate visual indication of detector status. The detector supports programmable alarm verification, acclimate functionality, walk test operation, drift compensation, and configurable day and night sensitivity settings for enhanced system performance.
The 63-1057 is designed for installation inside the Fike duct detector housing using a twist in twist out mounting arrangement that simplifies installation, inspection, cleaning, and replacement.
The compact detector design allows servicing without removing the duct housing from the HVAC system, reducing maintenance time while providing dependable long term performance.
