The Fike FIK-M501M is a compact addressable mini monitor module designed for use with Fike FCP Series fire alarm control panels. The Fike FIK-M501M provides a reliable interface between the fire alarm control panel and contact devices such as manual pull stations, waterflow switches, supervisory switches, and other normally open initiating devices. Therefore, it allows critical field devices to be individually monitored on the system’s signaling line circuit.
The Fike FIK-M501M is designed to monitor a single contact device and report alarm or trouble conditions to the compatible Fike addressable fire alarm control panel. As a result, connected initiating devices can be supervised and identified by address during system events. In addition, the module supports analog communications for dependable system integration and fast event reporting.
This addressable mini monitor module supports Class B supervised wiring to the connected load device. Consequently, it helps detect wiring faults and device activation conditions for improved life safety system reliability. Moreover, conventional 4-wire smoke detectors can be monitored for both alarm and trouble conditions when used in approved system configurations.
