Description

The Gamewell F7 is a two-wire, open area smoke detector. It provides an early response to smoldering or flaming fires during their incipient stages by employing the ionization theory of operation. Besides, the detector is list under the UL 268 standard and is suitable for conventional and addressable system solutions. Furthermore, all units are compatible with Flexalarm series control panels utilizing 2-wire, 24 Vdc alarm initiating circuits.

In general, the Gamewell F7 has been expressly designed to mount on compatible Gamewell detector bases having a twist lock configuration. Also, the detector head protrudes from the base assembly to allow easy entry of smoke from any detection. The detector head is construct from high impact, heat resistant, cream-white colored plastic material, which compliments most decors.

In addition, the Gamewell F7 basic construction consists of two ionization chambers and a highly sensitive semiconductor amplifier switching circuit. the outer chamber detects the presence of combustion products, as well as the inner chamber, is used as a reference to stabilize the detector’s sensitivity for changes in ambient conditions.
