The Gamewell-FCI ASD-PL2F is a commercial smoke detector designed for compatible Gamewell-FCI Velociti® addressable fire alarm systems. Electrical & System Information

The ASD-PL2F operates on compatible Gamewell-FCI Velociti® signaling line circuits with an operating voltage range of 15–32 VDC. Detector sensitivity is programmed through the fire alarm control panel and is continuously monitored to provide maintenance alerts when cleaning is required.

The detector communicates using the Velociti grouped polling protocol, significantly improving response time compared to earlier addressable technologies. Rotary decimal switches provide local address assignment from 01–159.

Mounting & Design

The ASD-PL2F installs on compatible Gamewell-FCI detector bases using a plug-in design that allows quick installation, cleaning, testing, and replacement without disturbing field wiring.

Compatible mounting boxes include 4-inch square, 3½-inch or 4-inch octagonal, and single-gang electrical boxes (depending on the selected detector base). Optional relay, isolator, and sounder bases are also available.
