Description

The Gamewell-FCI ASD-PTL3 is a commercial smoke and heat detector designed for compatible Gamewell-FCI addressable fire alarm systems. It combines a smoke sensing chamber with a 135°F (57°C) fixed-temperature thermal sensor, providing dependable fire detection in a single low-profile detector.

As part of the Velociti® Series 3 product family, the detector features programmable smoke sensitivity, rotary decimal addressing, dual LEDs with 360-degree visibility, and a built-in magnetic test switch for simplified installation and maintenance. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Electrical & System Information

The ASD-PTL3 operates on compatible Gamewell-FCI Velociti® Signaling Line Circuits (SLC) and communicates continuously with the fire alarm control panel. Rotary decimal switches provide local device addressing from 01–159, while the detector occupies a single SLC address.

The detector combines a smoke sensing chamber with dual electronic thermistors for fixed-temperature thermal detection. Smoke sensitivity is programmable through the compatible fire alarm control panel to suit a variety of commercial environments.
