The Gamewell-FCI SS-APT is an addressable multi sensor detector designed to provide dependable fire detection in commercial fire alarm systems. It combines smoke and thermal sensing technologies with self adjusting detection algorithms that automatically adapt to changing environmental conditions, helping reduce nuisance alarms while maintaining rapid fire detection.
Designed for commercial life safety applications, the SS-APT continuously evaluates smoke and heat conditions to optimize detector sensitivity. Its intelligent processing and low profile plug in design simplify installation, maintenance, and long term operation.
The SS-APT operates on an addressable signaling line circuit with an operating voltage range of 15 to 32 VDC. The detector continuously communicates with the fire alarm control panel while automatically adjusting its operating sensitivity based on changing environmental conditions.
Device addressing is configured using the address dials located on the rear of the detector. A built in LED provides visible status indication during normal communication and alarm conditions. The detector is compatible with several approved detector bases, including relay, isolator, and sounder bases.
