Description

The Gentex 8243PHY is a photoelectric system smoke detector listed for releasing device service. Also, this Gentex smoke alarm features a temporal 3 (T-3) audible signal for evacuation. Furthermore, this model features a universal mount that can be use for ceiling or wall applications. In continuation, this Gentex 8243PHY smoke alarm also includes auxiliary Form A/Form C relay contacts for initiating remote functions and annunciation. Plus, it also includes an isolated (activates connected panels or annunciators) 135° heat thermal alarm. In addition, this Gentex smoke detector is a non-latching (self-restoring) model.

Also, a standard Form A dry relay contact for connection to the system initiating circuit and an auxiliary Form C dry relay contact is provided on all models for use as remote annunciation as a releasing device. Additionally, other options include reverse/local 90dBA solid-state piezo horns and 135°F (57.2°C) fixed temperature self-restoring integral or isolated thermals to meet your specific requirements.
