The Honeywell HFS-P is an intelligent photoelectric smoke detector and the HFS-PT is an intelligent photoelectric smoke detector with thermal. These plug-in addressable smoke detectors, with integral communication, and also provide features that surpass conventional detectors.
The models Honeywell HFS-P, as well as Honeywell HFS-PT, are plug-in type smoke sensors with a plug-in detector base that combine a photoelectric sensing chamber with addressable-analog communications. Furthermore, the sensors transmit an analog representation of smoke density over a communication line to a control panel. Model HFS-PT combines a photoelectric sensing chamber and 135° F (57.2° C) fixed temperature heat detector.
Two LEDs on the sensor are control by the panel to indicate sensor status. Model HFS-PT combines a photoelectronic sensing chamber and 135°F fixed temperature heat detector. The HFS-P, as well as HFS-PT, require compatible addressable communications to function properly. Connect these sensors to listed compatible control panels only. All wiring needs to be installed in compliance with the National Electrical Code, applicable local codes, and any special requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
