The Notifier FCO-951 is a commercial advanced multi-criteria fire and carbon monoxide detector designed for compatible Notifier addressable fire alarm systems. It combines smoke, heat, carbon monoxide (CO), and infrared sensing technologies into a single device, providing enhanced fire detection while improving immunity to nuisance alarms.

Using advanced detection algorithms, the FCO-951 continuously analyzes data from multiple sensing elements to distinguish actual fire conditions from common airborne contaminants. The detector also provides dedicated life safety carbon monoxide detection through an integrated electrochemical CO sensor. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

The FCO-951 operates on compatible FlashScan® Signaling Line Circuits (SLC) with an operating voltage range of 15–32 VDC. It communicates continuously with the fire alarm control panel while occupying only a single SLC address despite incorporating multiple sensing technologies.

The detector features rotary decimal address switches, automatic drift compensation for both smoke and CO sensing elements, and a 10-year electrochemical CO sensing cell with end-of-life notification. When installed on compatible B200S series sounder bases, it can provide separate audible patterns for fire and carbon monoxide events.
