Description

The Notifier FDM-1A provides two independent 2-wire initiating device circuits (IDC), at two separate, consecutive addresses. It is capable of monitoring normally open contact fire alarm and supervisory devices, or either normally open or normally closed security devices. The module has a single panel controlled red LED.

Notifier FDM-1A, Dual Monitor Module, is intended for use in intelligent, two wire systems. Also, this device is a standard-sized dual monitor module that monitors and supervises two independent two-wire Style B. The module connected to a compatible Notifier system control panel. Furthermore, it provides two independent 2-wire initiating device circuits (IDC), at two separate, consecutive addresses.

Install module wiring in accordance with the job drawings as well as appropriate wiring diagrams. Note: Some panels support extended addressing. In order to set the module above address 99 on compatible systems, carefully remove the stop on the upper rotary switch with thumb in the direction.

Additionally, any number of ul listed contact closure Devices may be used. In conclusion, do not mix fire Alarm initiating, supervisory, or security Devices on the same initiating device circuit.
