Description
The Notifier FPTI-951 is a commercial addressable multi criteria detector designed for compatible Notifier intelligent fire alarm systems. It combines smoke, heat, and infrared (PTIR) sensing technologies into a single detector to provide enhanced fire detection while improving immunity to nuisance alarms caused by dust, steam, and other non-fire particulates.
Using sophisticated multi-sensor algorithms, the detector analyzes multiple fire signatures simultaneously, allowing faster and more reliable detection of developing fires than traditional single-sensor detectors. The FPTI-951 operates on compatible Notifier FlashScan® addressable signaling line circuits (SLC) with an operating voltage range of 15–32 VDC. Rotary decimal switches simplify field addressing, while the detector installs on compatible Notifier intelligent detector bases including standard, relay, isolator, and sounder bases.
