Electrical & System Information

The PAD300-LFSB communicates through the attached PAD300 detector using Potter’s PAD sub-point addressing, allowing the base to function without consuming an additional SLC loop address. The sounder receives supervised 16–33 VDC operating power while communication occurs through the compatible PAD signaling loop.

The sounder reproduces the notification pattern supplied by the compatible control panel or power source, supporting constant, ANSI Temporal 3, ANSI Temporal 4, March Time, Double Time, and other programmed audible patterns. Mounting & Design

The PAD300-LFSB is designed for use with compatible PAD300 Series detectors and installs on standard single-gang, 3½-inch octagon, double-gang, 4-inch octagon, 4-inch square, and metric electrical boxes. The detector twists securely into the base and may be locked in place using the integrated locking feature.

The low-profile base provides convenient access to field wiring terminals that accept 22–12 AWG conductors while allowing easy detector removal for testing and maintenance.
