The Siemens Abort Station (Model AW-1) designed for use with Siemens – Fire Safety detection systems, which listed and approved for release on Sinorix Engineered Fire-Suppression Systems, as well as the Siemens FireSeeker addressable and TXR-320 conventional fire alarm control panels. Model AW-1 employs a momentary, normally closed contact ‘dead-man-type,’ push-button switch, which – while held in – prevents any accidental discharge. Also, model AW-1 has a large, red “mushroom” head for ease of operation, and mounted on a steel plate. Furthermore, screw-type terminals are provided for connection. Additionally, the entire assembly mounts on a standard 2-1/2″ (6.4 cm.) deep, (2) two-gang electrical box. Model AW-1 is UL, ULC Listed, as well as Factory Mutual (FM) Approved.

The AW-1 Abort Switch from Siemens Industry, Inc. is used in releasing or pre-action deluge applications. It is a momentary press switch with a normally open contact. AW-1 employs a momentary, normally closed contact ‘dead-man-type,’ push-button switch, which – while held in – prevents discharge of the clean agent.

Siemens AW-1 consists of a momentary contact switch with a large red “mushroom” head for ease of operation, and mounted on a steel plate. Screw-type terminals provided for connection to the agent-release circuit. The entire assembly mounts on a standard 2-1/2″ (6.4 cm.) deep, two gang electrical box.
