Siemens Cerberus Pyrotronics FT-301 is a Remote Firefighters Telephone Station that includes a cradle with a switch hook mounted on a red enamel, heavy-gauge steel support, and a telephone handset. Also, the handset is constructed of red, high-impact plastic and attaches to the cradle assembly with a retractable coil cord. Besides, the Siemens Cerberus Pyrotronics FT-301 is design for use with the Cerberus Pyrotronics Hardwire Emergency Voice Alarm/Communication System.
In general, the Siemens Cerberus Pyrotronics FT-301 contains the circuitry necessary to produce a distinct zone call-in signal when the handset is remove from its cradle. It also provides surge suppression and in-out terminals for supervised wiring. The FT-301 is use with: FB-300 Flush Backbox 14″ H x 7″ W x 3.5″ D or FB-301 Surface Backbox 15″ H x 8″ W x 3.62″ D and FCC-300 Key Locked Door 15″ H x 8″ W FT-302 includes Push-to-Talk button in handset.
The Remote Firefighters Telephone shall operate from a two-conductor supervised line. Furthermore, a shorted or opened line shall be identify and signal visually and audibly at the command console. A single ground fault shall not impair the line function but shall be a signal for protective measures.
