A Thermal Fire Detector i s of fixed-temperature type. Designed for plug-in use with the standard Fire Safety Series 11 detector base. The thermal fire detector’s element i s self-restoring. The thermal fire detector’s electronics will lock in on ce the alarm i s triggered. The temperature rating for the thermal fire detector i s 135°F (58°C). A lamp i s located on the base of the detector to indicate the initiation of an alarm.

The Thermal Fire Detector, which i s shock and corrosion-resistant, responds only to heat. It i s suitable for use in areas where normal conditions would prohibit the use of other types of detectors. Wh en connected to fire-safety equipment, the detector i s fully compatible with fire-safety ionization detectors. Photoelectric detectors, flame detectors, and manual stations. To operate its alarm-indicating lamp. The thermal fire detector can operate 1 remote indicating lamp or remote relay wh en desired.
