Mounting & Design

The FDBZ-WT mounts directly to compatible HVAC ductwork. The installer aligns the enclosure with the sampling-tube and outlet-tube openings, secures it to the duct, and mounts the compatible air duct detector housing on the internal studs.

The front cover provides access to the installed duct housing and is secured with a key lock. Installation must follow Siemens instructions, local codes, and authority requirements.
