Description

The Siemens FDBZ492-PR air-duct housings are uniquely designed to use with the photoelectric detector. Sensitivity of Models PE-11, PE-11C as well as the OP121 detectors can be verified for calibration via LED visual status or a Model RSAW-11, Model RSAC-11, or also Model FDBZ492-RTL multicolor remote lamp.

Maintenance of the detector is easily accomplish via the removal of the duct-housing sampling chamber cover. Furthermore, the detector can be easily remove for cleaning or replacing by a trained technician.

When used with a Siemens conventional smoke detector, smoke and combustion products are detecte for shutdown of the duct system and/or operation of supplementary equipment as provided by the system control panel. The duct unit supports two sets of Form C alarm contacts, one Form A alarm contact and one Form C trouble contact. The trouble contact supervises the presence of the input power, removal of the detector cover and the removal of the smoke detector head.
