Description

The Siemens RL-HW Remote Alarm Lamps are designed for use with initiating devices that are concealed or otherwise not exposed to view (e.g. ņ in false ceilings, under sub-floors, in unexposed ventilating ducts, normally locked vaults, within computer consoles, etc.) Even though the device initiating the alarm is out of sight, these remote alarm-lamp assemblies will readily identify those unique and strategically placed types of initiating devices.

Siemens RL-HC is design for mounting to a 4” octagon outlet box, and Siemens RL-HW is design for mounting on a standard single-gang switch box. Although there is no mounting limitation, Model RL-HC is normally ceiling-mount, while Model RLHW is normally mount to a wall. The remote lamps may be place up to 25 feet from the detector and use the 14-to-18 gauge, 3-conductor wire.

Models RL-HW and RL-HC have screw-type terminals for ease of installation. The mounting plates for both alarm lamps are comprise of off-white plastic; presenting an attractive appearance that will blend with any
decor.
