The Siemens RSM-1 Switch Module is a fire alarm Key Switch Module that provide switch inputs to XLS, MXL, PXL, SXL-EX, FS-250 and any Siemens Building Technologies, Fire Safety Division Life Safety System. They can be use for remote control of the system as well as performing tests and creating status inputs. These switches can satisfy numerous specified needs regardless of the system protecting the building.

The Siemens RSM-1 Switch Module series switches are available in four models. Two have keyed switches and two have rocker switches. Also, the keyed variety match the key on Fire Safety control panels. One of each switch type is latching and one is momentary. The key operated switch models have flying leads on a single pole, normally open contact. In conclusion, the toggle switch models have flying leads on Form ‘C’ contacts. They mount in a single gang electrical box and include a red cover plate. Additionally, they include 4 labels for Reset, Acknowledge and Drill functions, plus one blank.
