Siemens XMS-S Manual Pull Stations P/N: S54321-F7-A1

Field-installed addressable devices containing advanced control panel communication technology. This technology, which provides two-directional communication with the control panel, produces an Intelligent Initiating Device.
Programming Instructions
Refer to Figure 1 to locate the programming holes accessible through the rear cover.

Follow the instructions in the DPU Manual, P/N 315-033260, to program the XMS to the desired address.
Record the device address on the label and attach it to the top surface of the base. The XMS is installed and wired to the system.

OPERATION
The XMS-S, XMS-D, and XMS-M manual stations operate with the Desigo Fire Safety Modular/Cerberus PRO Modular via the XDLC. These devices are wired in either Isolation Mode.

Insensitive Mode Wiring. The front cover has a recessed pocket to pull down and locks in position.

Resetting the Manual Station
To reset the stations, insert the Siemens T45 key. The cover will move upward to the normal position. Rotate the key clockwise and remove the key from the lock.
At the Normal position, the top of the Cover is flush with the top surface of the Base. Reset the Fire Alarm Control Panel to clear the alarm.
LED
Diagnostic LED provides a visible indication of the manual station status.
Normal: Green, LED flashes
Alarm: Red, LED flashes
Trouble: Amber, LED flashes.
The cover was removed from the manual station.
NOTES:
1. Recommended wire sizes: 18 AWG minimum, 14 AWG maximum.
2. The shields – grounded solely at the point of origin.
