The Siemens XTRI-D Dual Input Interface Module P/N: S54370-B2-A1 is an intelligent addressable interface device designed for compatible Siemens fire alarm systems. It provides two independently supervised input circuits for monitoring normally open or normally closed dry-contact devices.

The XTRI-D incorporates Siemens ISOtechnology with dual built-in isolators, providing enhanced signaling-line circuit survivability and short-circuit isolation. It can also operate in a polarity-insensitive configuration when isolation functionality is not required.

Dual Input Operation

The XTRI-D provides two monitored circuits:

Each input can independently monitor a dry-contact field device and communicate its status to the compatible Siemens fire alarm control panel.

When configured in isolator mode, the module can isolate a signaling-line short occurring on either side of the device.

This helps maintain communication with unaffected sections of the addressable circuit during certain wiring faults.

Class X Capability

The built-in ISOtechnology allows the XTRI-D to support enhanced Class X signaling-line circuit configurations with compatible Siemens equipment.

The integrated isolators can reduce the need for separate external isolation modules while improving circuit survivability and fault localization.
