The System Sensor 5251RB is a heat sensor that offers rate of rise heat detection. Also, The 5251RB detector uses a thermistor sensing circuit to make 135°F fixed and rate-of-rise heat detection. In addition, this System Sensor 200 Series intelligent detector comes with integral communication provide point location for alarm communication. Furthermore, the System Sensor 5251RB shall provide a test means whereby they will simulate an alarm condition and report that condition to the control panel. Such a test may be initiated at the detector itself (by activating a switch) or initiated remotely on command from the control panel. There are two test methods: functional magnet or direct heat method.
In general, both the System Sensor 5251B and 5251RB detectors use an innovative thermistor sensing circuit to produce 135°F fixed and rate-of-rise thermal detection in low-profile packages. Besides, the 5251H model provides fixed high-temperature detection at 190°F. In addition, these thermal detectors provide cost-effective, intelligent property protection in a variety of applications.
Furthermore, the 200 Series smoke detectors are intelligent (addressable) detectors with point ID capability that enable each detector address to be set with decade address switches to provide exact detector locations. In addition, the sensitivity of 200 Series detectors can be programm using the control panel software to suit the environment. The detector sensitivity is continually monitor as well as reported to the panel.
