The COSMO-2W operates on a nominal 12 volt or 24 volt non polarized two wire circuit with an operating voltage range of 8.5 to 35 VDC. It incorporates automatic drift compensation and smoothing algorithms that continuously adjust smoke sensitivity for dependable long term performance.

The detector includes a built in sounder capable of producing Temporal 3 fire alarm signals and Temporal 4 carbon monoxide alarm signals. A replaceable electrochemical carbon monoxide sensing cell extends product service life while reducing replacement costs. Three LED indicators provide visual status for standby, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, maintenance, and end of life conditions.

Mounting & Design
