The System Sensor HGWL is a compact, wall-mount (or ceiling-mount) horn from the System Sensor L-Series of notification appliances. As a “compact” model designed with a smaller footprint to fit tight spaces (including single-gang back boxes) and blend more discreetly into finished interiors. It is part of the modern L-Series line, which emphasizes reduced current draw, installer-friendly features, and compatibility with legacy systems.
Compact Form-Factor: Dimensions of approximately 5.25″ × 3.45″ × 1.25″ (133 mm × 88 mm × 32 mm) for the wall-mount version, allowing installation even in constrained backbox locations.
Automatic 12 / 24 V Operation: Supports 12 V nominal or 24 V nominal circuits (depending on variant) to match either low-voltage or standard fire alarm NAC wiring.
Plug-in Design & Universal Mounting Plate: Features a universal mounting plate with an onboard shorting spring so installers can verify wiring continuity before the horn is installed, reducing ground fault issues.
Two-Volume & Tone Selection: Rotary switch allows selection between temporal and continuous horn tones and high/low volume settings for sound-level optimisation.
Modern Aesthetics: Available in white or red housings, as well as with “FIRE” marking or plain faceplate variants, to suit architectural or system design requirements.
Legacy Compatibility: Electrically compatible with older SpectrAlert® and SpectrAlert Advance® devices, facilitating retrofit upgrades.
