Description

The System Sensor P2R SpectrAlert Advance series of notification appliances offers a wide range of horns, strobes, and combinations of horns and strobes. Also, these products are electrically backward compatible with the previous generation of SpectrAlert notification appliances. Horn/ strobe products are available in two versions. The 2-wire products are designed for systems where a single NAC controls both the horn and strobe.

Strobes and horn strobes shall have field-selectable candela settings, including 15, 15/75, 30, 75, 95, 110, 115, 135, 150, 177, and 185.

The System Sensor P2R strobe light shall consist of a xenon flash tube and an associated lens/reflector system. Furthermore, the horn shall have three audibility options and an option to switch between a temporal three pattern and a non-temporal (continuous) pattern. A multiple-position switch sets these options. Furthermore, on four-wire products, the strobe shall be powered independently of the sounder. The horn-on-horn strobe models shall operate on a coded or non-coded power supply
