Description

In the first place, System Sensor RTS2 is an automatic fire detector accessory design to test remotely located duct detectors. Also, System Sensor RTS2 multi-signaling accessories come designed to work with InnovairFlex 4-wire conventional duct smoke detectors. Besides, these accessories include a key switch that can be use to select one of two connected sensors to be tested, reset or both by a push-button switch. They also enable sensitivity measurements using the SENS-RDR sensitivity reader (sold separately).

The green “Standby” will blink every 5 seconds whenever the duct smoke detector is receiving power. The amber “Trouble” LED is lit when the duct smoke detector sensor is missing or the detector cover is remove. The delay to indicate a trouble condition once the cover is remove depends on the dip switch setting on the duct smoke detector power board. Furthermore, an LED with an amber blink every 5 seconds indicates that the sensor is in “Maintenance” which indicates that the sensor needs to be cleaned or replaced.
