Description

The Vigilant GSA-CT2 is a commercial dual input module designed for compatible Vigilant Signature Series fire alarm systems. It connects one or two normally open dry-contact initiating device circuits to a Signature Loop Controller, allowing conventional alarm, supervisory, waterflow, and monitoring devices to report individually through the addressable fire alarm system.

Each input channel can be programmed independently using one of four personality codes. This allows the module to monitor different device types from the same installation, such as a waterflow switch on one circuit and a valve tamper switch on the second circuit. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Electrical & System Information

The GSA-CT2 operates from the compatible Signature Data Circuit at 15.2–19.95 VDC and uses two module addresses, one for each input channel. Electronic addressing is assigned through the Signature Loop Controller, compatible programming software, or a Signature service tool, eliminating mechanical address switches or rotary dials.

Each input is supervised with a 47 kΩ end-of-line resistor and supports normally open dry-contact initiating devices. The two channels can use different personality codes, allowing separate alarm, delayed alarm, supervisory, or monitor functions within the same module.

Mounting & Design

The GSA-CT2 mounts in a standard North American 2½-inch-deep single-gang electrical box or a 1½-inch-deep 4-inch square box equipped with a single-gang cover and compatible mounting plate.

The module includes removable terminal connections suitable for 12–18 AWG conductors. Its compact wall-plate design makes it suitable for remote locations where a single dual-input module is required.
