The Wheelock ET-1010-R is a vandal resistant wall speaker designed for commercial fire alarm and emergency communication systems. Featuring a rugged red die cast housing, it delivers high efficiency voice and tone signaling for commercial life safety applications while providing dependable performance in demanding environments.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor installations, the ET-1010-R supports 25 volt and 70 volt speaker circuits with field selectable wattage taps. Its sealed back speaker construction improves audio performance while protecting internal components from environmental conditions.
The ET-1010-R supports both 25 VRMS and 70 VRMS speaker circuits with field selectable power taps of one eighth, one quarter, one half, one, two, four, and eight watts. A factory installed 10 microfarad blocking capacitor provides compatibility with DC supervised speaker notification appliance circuits. The speaker is designed to deliver high efficiency sound output across a frequency range of 400 Hz to 4000 Hz.
The unit includes IN and OUT screw terminals accepting 12 AWG through 18 AWG conductors, allowing straightforward installation on commercial voice evacuation systems. Outdoor installations require the approved Wheelock WBB weatherproof back box.
