The Edwards ESD-CT Duct Smoke Detector Controller is an intelligent controller designed for use with Edwards SuperDuct terminal-connected smoke sensors in commercial HVAC smoke detection systems. Unlike the RJ45 version, the ESD-CT utilizes screw terminal connections for detector wiring, providing greater installation flexibility where modular cabling is not preferred. Therefore, it delivers reliable smoke detection control, HVAC shutdown capability, and fire alarm integration while helping prevent smoke from circulating throughout a building’s ventilation system.

Edwards ESD-CT Function

The Edwards ESD-CT continuously monitors a compatible terminal-wired duct smoke sensor installed within the HVAC duct system.
