Fenwal CPD-7054 Advanced Ionization Smoke Detector

The Fenwal CPD-7054 is a dual-chamber ionization smoke detector designed to sense both visible and invisible combustion particles for early fire detection. It is suitable for use in open areas and can be installed on 2-wire or 4-wire detector bases. The CPD-7054 offers enhanced stability, sensitivity monitoring, and flexible system integration.

• Wide Input Voltage Range
  Operates reliably across 10.2 to 36.8 VDC, making it compatible with many fire alarm system power supplies.

• 360° Smoke Entry Design
  Allows smoke to enter from any direction around the detector, improving responsiveness across the sensing plane.

• Visual Indication & Sensitivity Monitoring
  Two red LEDs (on opposite sides) provide 360° viewing:

  • In standby, LEDs pulse approximately every 6 seconds.

  • In alarm, LEDs remain steadily lit.

  • A double flash every 6 seconds indicates the detector’s sensitivity is outside acceptable limits.

• Compatibility & Flexibility

  • Works with Fenwal 2-wire or 4-wire bases (interchangeable).

  • Mechanically and electrically compatible with existing Fenwal smoke and heat detectors and bases.

  • Locking feature for vandal resistance.

  • Fine mesh insect screen to reduce nuisance alarms.

• Performance in Airflow Ranges
  The CPD-7054 is rated for use in open area/duct housing environments in air velocities 0 to 300 fpm. The variant CPD-7054D extends suitability to 0–500 fpm (for duct applications).
