The Fire-Lite BG-12 is a commercial dual action manual pull station designed to provide dependable manual fire alarm initiation.
Constructed with a rugged red housing, the BG-12 features a hex lock reset mechanism, molded operating instructions with Braille text, and gold-plated switch contacts for long-term reliability. Its durable design and multiple mounting options make it suitable for a wide variety of commercial fire alarm installations.
The BG-12 provides one normally open alarm initiating input for connection to a compatible fire alarm control panel. Gold-plated switch contacts improve reliability and are rated at 0.25 ampere at 30 VAC or 30 VDC.
The pull station is designed for supervised initiating device circuits and includes clearly marked wiring terminals to simplify installation and maintenance.
The BG-12 is designed for surface mounting using compatible Fire-Lite surface back boxes or for semi flush installation on standard single gang, double gang, or four inch square electrical boxes with the appropriate trim plate.
After activation, the handle remains in the down position, providing a clear visual indication that the station has been operated. Resetting is accomplished using the supplied hex key.
