The Simplex 4099-9004 is a commercial addressable manual pull station designed to provide dependable manual fire alarm activation. It features single-action operation, requiring the user to pull the front lever downward to initiate an alarm signal.
The station communicates and receives operating power through a single IDNet or MAPNET II wire pair. An internal addressable module continuously monitors the station and reports status changes to the connected fire alarm control panel.
The 4099-9004 receives power and communication through an IDNet or MAPNET II signaling circuit using one address per station. Device addressing is configured through an eight-position DIP switch.
A visible LED flashes during normal panel communication and remains steadily illuminated after the station is activated. Screw terminals support incoming and outgoing field wiring using conductors from 18 AWG through 14 AWG.
The 4099-9004 features a compact red housing designed for surface, semi-flush, or flush installation using an approved electrical box and mounting accessory. Its enclosed electronics module helps reduce dust infiltration while simplifying field wiring and installation.
When activated, the pull lever remains extended to provide a clear visual indication that the station has been operated. Resetting requires opening the station with the appropriate Simplex key and returning the lever to its normal position.
The optional internal break rod can discourage vandalism without preventing normal station operation. When installed, the break rod must be replaced after activation.
