The Gamewell-FCI AMM-4SF addressable monitor module features a single Style D, Class A initiating device circuit. It may also be configured as a Style B, Class B initiating circuit with an end-of-line resistor. Also, this module provides an address for a group of conventional 2-wire smoke detectors.

The Velociti® Series uses a communication protocol that substantially increases the speed of communication between the sensors and certain Gamewell-FCI analog addressable fire alarm control panels. Furthermore, these devices operate in a grouped fashion. If one of the devices in the group has a status change, the panel’s microprocessor stops the group poll and concentrates on the single device. The net effect is a response speed up to five times greater than earlier designs.

In general, the Gamewell FCI AMM-4SF module is designed to be installed with the signaling line circuit in any Gamewell-FCI analog addressable fire alarm control panel. Besides, the signaling line circuits of Gamewell-FCI analog addressable panels are designed to accommodate up to 159 monitor modules per circuit.
