The Mircom MIX-M500RAP Intelligent Relay Control Module provides addressable relay control for compatible Mircom fire alarm systems. It allows the fire alarm control panel to operate auxiliary equipment through two isolated Form-C relay contacts configured as a DPDT switch.
The MIX-M500RAP is designed for intelligent two-wire systems and uses built-in rotary switches for individual device addressing. Typical applications include controlling fans, dampers, door equipment, and other auxiliary building systems in response to programmed fire alarm events.
The Mircom MIX-M500RAP operates from 15 to 32 VDC and draws approximately 300 µA average operating current, based on one communication every five seconds. Maximum alarm current is 6.5 mA with the LED illuminated. Relay ratings vary by connected load.
The MIX-M500RAP measures approximately 4.5 inches high × 4 inches wide × 1.25 inches deep. It mounts directly to a standard 4-inch square electrical box with a minimum depth of 2-1/8 inches.
Its compact design and addressable operation make it a practical interface for auxiliary control functions in commercial and institutional fire alarm installations.
