The Notifier NBG-12LX is an addressable dual-action pull station designed for compatible Notifier intelligent fire alarm control panels. The station requires two motions—push in and pull down—to initiate an alarm, helping reduce accidental activation while providing reliable manual fire alarm initiation.

The integrated addressable interface allows the fire alarm control panel to identify the exact device location during an alarm. The station features rotary address switches, a dual-color status LED, key-reset operation, and a durable polycarbonate housing for long-term commercial use. This product is intended exclusively for commercial fire alarm installations.

Electrical & System Information

The NBG-12LX operates on compatible Notifier Signaling Line Circuits (SLC) with a 24 VDC nominal operating voltage and automatically communicates using either FlashScan® or CLIP protocol, depending on the connected control panel.

Two rotary decimal switches provide address settings from 01–159 on FlashScan systems and 01–99 on CLIP systems. The station is supervised continuously by the fire alarm control panel for reliable operation.

Mounting & Design

The NBG-12LX may be surface mounted using the SB-10 or SB-I/O back box or semi-flush mounted to a standard single-gang, double-gang, or 4-inch square electrical box. An optional BG12TR trim ring is available for selected semi-flush installations.

Its molded polycarbonate housing features a textured finish, highly visible activation handle, and captive screw terminals accepting wire sizes up to 12 AWG.
